During the week, we do a lot of different things around the Outer Banks. Whether it's dining out, shopping, visiting the dunes, playing miniature golf, riding jet skis, laying on the beach, or taking a ferry ride, we usually do it as a group and we always have fun.
Every year since we've been going down to the Outer Banks we've taken an evening and gone to a real grass miniature golf course. It's a lot of fun, especially when you're with people that can't play golf. From left to right: Jen, Josh, Jackie, Eric, Katie, Kelly, Gabe, me, and Mark (he actually plays real golf).
Ahhhh....the sweet taste of victory. This is me and Jen after I whooped her ass by 11 strokes. Please note that I am in fact taller than Jen (inside joke). Pardon my unshaven look, I was rather burnt and shaving was a little painful. I hate how I look in this picture, but I won so I have to put it up...WOO HOO!! Oh, it's only fair to mention that Jen did beat me the previous 2 years, but never by 11 strokes.
Blame this one on my parents. We found Howard's Pub back when I was in high school during one of our family trips. Now it's tradition for the gang. Howard's has over 250 kinds of beer and some damn good food. It's a 30 minute drive and half hour ferry ride from the house, but well worth it. This is Kelly, Josh, and Jackie on Howard's steps. Did I mention the 250 different kinds of beer?
Taken outside by the pool, this is a slightly burnt Kelly. Is it me or is she gorgeous? Too bad she's like 4 inches taller than I am.
